As the Germans expanded their use of the new Rift-tech developed Heavy Infantry Armour, whole units have been equipped in armoured divisions to form heavy Panzergrenadier forces able to support heavy tank and panzermech battalions. These heavy formations would often be the spearhead of an advance to maximise the damage inflicted on defending forces.
Officers of these units would be equipped with the same armour as their troops, although often carrying lighter weapons more suited to personal protection. The officer can be accompanied by up to two assistants to run messages and maintain communications back to Battalion HQ.

This is a great set of armored German infantry with LMGs. Although they are scaled at 1/56 scale, they look okay next to WeeGee's 1/48 plastic infantry. The officer's MP40 is too small to scale correctly with WeeGee's 1/48 plastic infantry versions. If you can forgive this, the models are nice.
The figure consists of three parts. There is the body proper, the arms, shoulders and rifle piece, the backpack and the head. Oh, make that four parts. The models have very little flash. The officer's arms may be separate bits. This makes five parts to assemble him.
These guys are great for conversions. They look faintly German with hard lines. However, the figures can easily have weapons clipped away, lasers and space helmets added for other sci fi themes. The backpacks may need some work.
