The 76mm was the backbone in many ways of the Soviet field guns. Capable of accurate direct fire and also as a howitzer, the 76mm was a classic in design and was universally used by the Russian armies even though the Korean War and beyond.
Classic Soviet artillery piece, the 76mm ZIS3 divisional gun, commander and two crew figures. This gun was made in the thousands and can be used in artillery support or anti-tank roles.

The Zis-3 gun is an excellent addition to my Soviet arsenal. It certainly catches peoples eyes once deployed on the table. My only two concerns lie in the assembly and sculpts. I had some trouble getting the gun to fit together. It could have been user error or poor design -- but it was nothing some creative additions couldn't fix. The second concern was that the crewman carrying the crate of ammunition is the same sculpt as in the Soviet Heavy Mortar. I would prefer to have unique models for the different pieces but a more ambitious modeler than me could do a quick head swap to make the crew more distinct. No other issues. A worthwhile investment for anyone who plays Soviets.
